Adam was
born in Manchester England, received his BA (Hons)
degree from the University of London in 1996, majoring
in Law and Japanese and now resides in Kobe, Japan.
Over the past ten years he has developed his skills in
business development, investment and new product
development for successful technology and consumer
brand-based ventures funded by large US and Japanese
corporations and Investment Funds like Sumitimo
Corporation, Liberty Media Corporation, NEC, Shogakukan
and J.H.Whitney and Co.
Adam
believes that entrepreneurship can be a great force of
good and he hopes that Mind Fund and the companies that
it incubates will embody these ideals in the 21st
century.
Adam is
also currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of
The Fizzy Fruit Company and Chairman of the Board and
CEO of Imindi Inc, both of which are portfolio companies
of Mind Fund.

Galen Kaufman was raised in Java until age three and then in the U.S Midwest. He received veterinary and neuroscience doctorate degrees from Kansas State University and the University of Minnesota, respectively in 1989 and 1993. He spent his post-doctoral years in Galveston at the University of Texas Medical Branch and NASA Johnson Space Center. After receiving a five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health, he returned to UTMB for perception research in his own lab.
Galen continues to be amazed by the fascinating interplay between physical laws and our human experience and journey. By exploring what is possible he hopes to encourage others to overcome personal fear and deception. He is the author of two works of fiction, Fear Infinity, and Still Life.
Galen discovered carbonated fruit in 1994 and founded the company that would become The Fizzy Fruit Company where he remains on the board of Directors and assists with R&D. In addition Galen is also a Director and Chief Science Officer for Imindi Inc.
